TREE SAFETY
Emergency and safety guidance
Last updated August 28, 2026Keep people clear
If a tree or branch may fall, keep people, pets, and vehicles away. Do not stand beneath damaged limbs or enter a visibly unstable area to take pictures.
Power lines
Never approach or touch a tree, branch, tool, fence, or vehicle that is contacting or close to a power line. Contact the electric utility immediately. Call emergency services when there is immediate danger to life, fire, or a blocked emergency route.
Limbs is not emergency dispatch
A Limbs request does not guarantee immediate monitoring or response. Use emergency services, the utility, or a qualified emergency tree professional when the situation cannot wait.
Picture review limitations
Pictures can miss root failure, internal decay, weak unions, overhead hazards, underground utilities, and changing weather. Preliminary observations must be confirmed onsite by a qualified professional.
